Combination of recycled yarn with triacetate
Hataoka (Fukui), a trading company, launches sustainable materials centered on triacetate, a semi-synthetic fiber derived from wood pulp. It also emphasizes the transparency of traceability (history management) made at the Ashiwa Kogyosho and Hokuriku dyeing factories, which are the company's textile divisions. Since 2010, it has been promoting sustainability by combining recycled polyester with Mitsubishi Chemical's triacetate "Soaron", which has obtained FSC (forest) certification and blue sign. The popular stretch material "Tactus", which is a cover of spandex "Roika" with Soaron, will eventually be switched to a recycled type of Roika. The transparency of the supply chain is also ensured, and the manufacturing plant of each product number is also disclosed.
